Thoughts on Vampires

The Vampire is a good example of a twist on the old vampire theme. Often times vampires are not the suck your blood type like Count Dracula.  The vampire theme goes back to the 18th century.  Some vampire stories they are known to feed of a persons life force and not their blood. They are also called werewolves in some folk lore, shape-shifters or ghosts.

In his short story the Vampire, Jan Neruda has made the vampire a psychic with a quite masterful and refreshing way.  In the age of movie vampires like " Interview with a Vampire " , " Twilight",

Vampires are considered ghosts in China. Native American culture believed in the Wendigo a cross between a vampire, a yeti and a ghost.  Often times these mythical creatures are devils or demons with supernatural powers. What they have in common as they kill innocent people and steal their souls.

@Repairman

I decided in February to start tweeting a story. It is an experiment on my part to try writing using this new format. It is a challenging format as I am limited to 140 characters.  I hope my followers don't mind if I send several tweets on the same day. I have currently two paragraphs to my story.  I will update my blog to post the story update from my tweets.

You can find the story at the link below:

I want to avoid tweeting back and forth with followers on Twitter but you can post questions or suggestions on this blog. I hope you enjoy the story.
